The Upper Village Business Improvement Area (BIA) is a not-for-profit association of commercial property owners and tenants. Established in 1983, and run by an elected Board of Management, we work in partnership with the City of Toronto to create a vibrant, thriving, and safe community along Eglinton West between Bathurst St. and Allen Rd.

We act as a unified voice for Upper Village businesses and assist business owners with marketing, accessing support and resources, and navigating challenges. We also drive community initiatives, plan streetscape and economic development improvements, and execute local programs and events.

We strive to be a welcoming village where people of all types can work, live, play, innovate and express in a space of safety and mutual support.

We believe inclusivity and community collaboration is key to cultivating social, environmental, and economic prosperity, now and into future generations.
